Dear Students and Parents,

Welcome to Fall 2010!

It’s time to start scheduling lesson times, so please send me your possible time windows. I also have some dates for performance classes, our recital, and other events for you to jot down. Please schedule your theory lessons and rehearsals with Claudia.

Claudia and I can give performance classes on the following Saturdays:

September 25, October 23, and November 6 (dress rehearsal).

Our recital will be Sunday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. We’re trying to keep your holidays a bit simpler!

I am planning to have Saturday classes in the same format as last spring, from 10 to 11 a.m. Undoubtedly there will be a Cleveland trip because of my parents’ ill health or other unforeseen events.

Also, I hope you’ll all participate in the ASTA Mary West Competition. The application form can be downloaded at http://www.MNSOTA.org. The application deadline is Sept. 25. The Competition date is Oct. 24, and the Winners’ Recital is Oct. 31.
