Our final class recital before Bruce and I move to Rhode Island occurred Sunday, May 15, 2016. I was touched beyond words by every student’s best work, and by the presentation of a photo book and album with photos of each student and letters from all.

I hope I conveyed, however tearfully, that my joy as a teacher comes from watching you surpass what my knowledge was at your ages. I am unspeakably proud and happy for our work together and for the community of musicians we were, from Twinkles to college.
